STEPS TO DRAWING
Draw an Oval or a Circle
for the face.
 Change the size of your
Brush to a Large Size and put in the whites of your eyes.
Change the size of you Brush
to a Smaller Size and put in the color for your eyes. You can even use
the same size brush to add a little nose. Change the brush size to the
tinyest size and add 2 white dots. (This makes it look like the light is
shining on your eyes.)
Now add a line for the Mouth.
You can even add a large circle for the mouth if you'd like to, make him
look like he is singing or even screaming.
Freehand draw the hair, get as
crazy as you'd like to with the hair. Think of how your hair looks when
you first get up in the morning... try drawing your hair that way.
Now put your hair on your face.
To do this you use the copy tool. Click down on the left button of your
mouse, holding it down until your square is completely around the hair.
Then place the hair onto your face.
The body is an oval too...
except it's much bigger!
Draw a line near the bottom
of the Large Oval.
Remove the bottom area. Use
your different Brush Sizes to make the buttons... don't forget the button
holes.

Now freehand draw in the arms (you can use the line tool for this also),
hands and other features you may want to add to your character.

Freehand draw more hair, add 2 Large Brush Size dots for cheeks and you
have a girl!
A few simple pointers to Remember when you are drawing Faces.

Placement of your face's features. Draw an line down the center of
your face. Draw a second line across the middle of the face. In the bottom
section, draw another line in the middle of that section. Now draw another
line in the middle of that section.

The eyes are located on the first line... just about in the middle of your
face. The nose is next... almost triangle in shape. The bottom line is
the area for your mouth. There are many variations for cartoon characters,
and most keep to these simple basic steps.
