Silhouettes

Things you will need...

Large white paper
A colorful piece of paper
Tape
Pencil
Floor Lamp
Chair for child to sit in

Tape a large piece of white paper on your wall. Sit the child in the chair near the paper. Put the lamp so that it will show a shadow on the paper.

Move the child as close as you can get to the paper... the closer they are... the shaper the shadow will be.

Use the pencil to outline the shadow. The hardest part is having the child sit still long enough for you to do the drawing.

Once drawn, cut out the silhouette and paste on a piece of colored paper.
