EV Settings Looking at the LCD Screen... this setting is near the bottom, left hand corner. Play with this to adjust the light on the subject you are taking.

Sometimes when I view an object, like this Red Rose... the beautiful color is lost in the photo (the photo on the left). By adjusting the EV settings, you can now see the nice color of the Red Rose (the photo on the right). -EV darkens... +EV lightens.
