In between miles of Beanie Baby shops, we ran in to a pet shop... there she was! Once we held her in our arms there was NO letting go! Beanie Babies in one arm and Taco in the other, we had smiles on our faces! ...and yes, that is a Beanie Baby you see our Taco Beanie laying with ...for Taco and us... it was a very long day! Night Night Time! Smoochies to you!

The next day we took Taco Beanie to the vet... the news was not good... she had a heart murmur. The vet said that Taco could live a very long life, or she could die within the next few days. Being such a small puppy, it was hard to say.

Later that night, Taco died. It is difficult to have someone you love soooooo much die. It made us cry... a lot! We will bury her in our flower garden. The little time she spent with us... she seemed to like our flowers... and Smoochy Beanie too.

This experience taught us NOT to ever buy from a Pet Shop again... no matter how cute the puppy is! Many of the animals you see in a pet shop come from Puppy Mills. Most times in puppy mills... their dogs are not loved, not cared for... and they make the mommy dogs have lots and lots of babies!

We called the pet shop who in turn told us that he talked to the breeder, and made arrangements to pick up one of Taco's brothers. Meet...
Grizzly Bean Defiance!

When our vet looked at Grizzly... he said Grizzly was GREAT! What wonderful news that was for us!!! ...about Smoochy the frog... he has now become Grizzly's favorite too! We've decided that he will keep Smoochy, this way he will have something special to remember his sister Taco!

When we visited the pet shop again later that week... we had found out that the 3rd Pom pup had also died from the same thing that Taco died from.

We traveled to Ohio to find Grizzly a girl-friend... introducing...
Peachy Bear!

Peachy is an orange Pomeranian. She is beautiful... firecrakers went off when we met her! Oooooo and does she ever like to give kisses!

On December 29th (My Birthday)... Peachy had 2 Puppies!

Both pups are the same color as their daddy... "Grizzly!" Cute little balls of black fluff! Roger was quick to pick the little girl... she will be named after Taco... our first Pom! The little boy pom has white paws, and 2 spots of white on his chest.

Baby Boy at 15 days old (on the left - you can see his white spot under his chin). He was 12 days old when he opened his eyes. Both Taco Baby and Baby Boy love to sleep on their back!

The second photo (on the right) is Baby Boy a year later. We've tried to take a photo of all four of our Poms at one time... without any luck! They run and bounce so much... in the photo at least one of them end up as furry blob... they never hold still. All are doing well... and we love ALL FOUR of them!
