Some of our Other Pets...


      Here are a few more of Loraine's pets. The rooster we call Mr. Bossy... because he is! Mr. Bossy rules! Then there's Bandit and Ringo... Zorro wouldn't sit still long enough for his photo. I MUST SAY THAT RACCOONS ARE WILD ANIMALS AND YOU SHOULD NOT KEEP THEM AS PETS!

      Ringo and Zorro came to live with Loraine when their Mom was killed. They were bottle feed just like a baby. Bandit and her brother Sly were found in their field, we don't know what happened to their Mom. Bandit gave birth to 5 babies this Spring! Bandit was released after the babies were only a few weeks old, as raccoons are wild animals by nature, they should be able to run the woods. They are all doing fine and stop by now and then to visit.

      Ringo and Zorro however... they are not used to being in the wild. They were released... but they returned to us when a few other raccoons decided to "let them know who was boss!" Zorro hide under a blanket crying, while Ringo crouched on a near by railing. Because they never knew the wild as Bandit and Sly did, it will take awhile for them to get used to the Kingdom of the Woods!


      Loraine and her Family live in the County...
      right in the middle of 13 acres of Woods.

      • Loraine's Cats Names are - Nekos, Skobe, and Misty
      • The dogs are - Dotty the Dalmation, Tosha and Tanner are Shelties, Butch and Star.
      • 2 Bottle Baby Sheep - Bo and Baby
      • 1 Goat - named Billy Goat.
      • Beauty and Beasty - pair of Peacocks
      • Flip and Flop - Flop Ear Rabbits
      • Then there are 5 hamsters, 2 Love Birds, a total of 3 Silky Chickens, 2 part Pheasant Chickens (Mom just had 9 chicks!) 2 Seahorse and several Goldfish in the Garden Pond.

      Now you Know where Loraine gets alot of her ideas
      for the animals in her storybooks!
