Spanish Rice 1 can low salt chicken broth 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes chopped green pepper Jalapeno (if you like it hot... if not omit) 1 tablespoon promise margirine (55mg sodium) 2 tablespoons low salt tomato sauce chili spice cumin
Cook rice in boiling low salt chicken broth. Saute tomatoes and green pepper in frying pan with the butter. Once the rice is done put it into the frying pan. Add the tomato sauce and 1/2 cup of the chicken broth that the rice was cooked in... simmer on low heat for 20 minutes... or until flavor can be tasted in the rice.
