It's hard for me to give up certain tastes I've had all my life... I grew up on Brooks chili... violia... chili I can eat!
Warm me up... Chili

1 pound low fat hamburger (55mg - 3oz)
This gives you about 10 cups of chili... about 2300mg sodium for the entire recipe... 230mg per 1 cup serving.
I like to rinse my cans out with water, then pour it into the chili.
Brown hamburger in a deep dish pan. Drain off any fat. Add the rest of the ingredants... let simmer for about 45 minutes.
If you like a thicker chili... take 1/2 cup chili broth (liquid of the chili you are making) and add 2 Tablespoons of flour (more if you want it thicker). Mix... then stir into your chili... let the chili come to a boil.
Lower Sodium Chili

Serve with white rice.
