Eating Out
I bought a little container and plastic jars from the "make-up" section of the store... this fits nicely in my bag to carry in the restaurant. I put in my low salt condiments... ketchup... sour cream... butter... mayo... spices I like... etc.
I found little ice cubes in plastic that I stick in the container to keep everything cool... that way they won't spoil when I'm out for the day.
Make your own no salt - low salt breads. I take along my own bread too... or hamburger bun (2mg sodium per bun)... I do like my bread with my meals. Most store bought bread is high in sodium.
Fast Food - Sometimes we have to eat out...
Wendys... salad bar... and baked potato! Top with your own ... butter and sour cream!
Resturants can be wonderful!
Ask if the meals are made there... or precooked then prepared.
