2. Using Paint Shop Pro as our graphic editor... we select the MAGIC WAND tool. Click on the green area of the eye... this selects this area ONLY... this means no other section of your drawing will be effected by what you do. You are able to work in the green area only.
Click on the RETOUCH tool... then select DARKEN. Darken an area of the eye. (I usually darken the upper left - or - right hand side for the eyes.) Here we darkened the upper right side. Next select LIGHTEN... and lighten the opposite side that you made dark.
3. Add the black pupil to your eye with your PAINT BRUSH tool.
4. Add a dot of white (or very light color). This... this very simple step pops your eye to life! See what a difference it makes in the lion's eyes shown here (below). Another thing to remember... always add the white dot to the DARKER area of the eye (opposite where you lightened the green color).
